Classic Blackjack Game Review
“One more card” sounds harmless until your hand takes it personally. Classic Blackjack from Switch Studios puts that familiar decision at the centre of a traditional card game.
At Amazon Slots, we see it as one of the classics that you can’t avoid. Then it’s down to you to decide whether your hand needs help or deserves to be left alone.
Theme & Graphics
A wooden surround frames the traditional felt table, with space between the dealer’s cards and your own. Chip positions mark your stake, and the action buttons remain close to the play area.
We like how little effort it takes to read the table. Before you choose your next move, you can see the hand in front of you.
Payout Table
These ratios show profit. The successful wager comes back too, so the amount credited includes both.
A natural blackjack is an ace and a ten-value card from the initial deal. For example, a £4 winning blackjack pays £6 profit and returns the £4 stake. That makes £10 altogether.
A natural also beats a total of 21 made with three or more cards.

Card Values
Number cards count at face value. Jacks, queens and kings count as 10, and an ace counts as 1 or 11.
A soft hand has an ace that currently counts as 11. For example, an ace and six make soft 17.
Bonus Features: Insurance
If the dealer shows an ace, you can place an optional insurance wager worth half your main stake. It pays if the dealer has blackjack.
Otherwise, you lose that extra wager, whatever happens to your own hand.
Game Mechanics
Your aim is to beat the dealer’s total without going over 21. This single-deck version starts with one player hand.
Choose your chip value, place your stake and press Deal. You receive two cards, while the dealer’s visible card gives you information for your next decision. Then the available buttons let you act.
Hit, Stand, Double and Split
Hit gives you another card, while Stand ends your turn with the cards you already have. You can continue to hit while your hand remains in play.
You can also choose Double, which adds a stake equal to your original wager and gives you one final card. Here, that option applies to initial hard totals of 9, 10 or 11. A hard total has no ace counted as 11.
If your first two cards form an eligible pair, you can split them into two hands. Each needs an equal stake, and you then play them separately. One split is allowed.
Dealer Play and Results
The dealer draws below 17 and stands on all 17s. Soft 17 follows the same rule.
If you exceed 21, you bust and lose immediately. If the dealer busts, your surviving hand wins. Otherwise, completed hands are compared. Equal hands produce a push and return your main wager.

Editor’s Opinion
We think Classic Blackjack suits players who enjoy the pause before a decision. There is room to consider your move, and that involvement is its main appeal. If dealer conversation matters to you, a hosted table may suit you better.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I play Classic Blackjack on my phone?
Yes, it supports smartphones and tablets. You can access it through Amazon Slots’ mobile casino. The same account and balance work across devices.
Does Classic Blackjack have a high RTP?
Its published theoretical RTP is High. That figure assumes the appropriate strategy for its rules. It describes long-term play and cannot predict what you will get back from a session.
Can you count cards in Classic Blackjack?
The deck is reshuffled after each round. A running count therefore cannot carry into the next hand.
